The ESA Conference 2022 is to be held on 28–30 June 2022 at Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn. The keynote speakers are Emmanuel Alloa, Jacques Rancière, and Virve Sarapik.
Call for Abstracts 2022
The European Society for Aesthetics invites you to submit an abstract of a paper for presentation at the ESA Conference. You can submit panel proposal. The deadline is January 15, 2022.
Essay Prize Competition
Submit your paper to the ESA Essay Prize for PhD students and early career researchers. The prize was launched in 2017 in memory Fabian Dorsch, a co-founder and the first secretary of the European Society for Aesthetics.

ESA Conference 2018 – Maribor (Slovenia)

EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR AESTHETICS CONFERENCE 2018

Maribor (Slovenia): 14–16 June, 2018

The European Society for Aesthetics would like to invite you to attend the ESA Conference that will take place in Maribor, Slovenia, from the 14th until the 16th of June 2018.

The conference is co-organised with the Slovenian Society of Aesthetics and Alma Mater Europaea – Institutum Studiorum Humanitatis, Alma Mater Europaea – European Center Maribor.

Programme

We will have both systematic and historical presentations of papers from different traditions and on a large variety of topics in philosophical aesthetics. For each talk, there will be time for a 20-minute presentation, with about another 25 minutes designated for discussion. All accepted and presented papers would be eligible for publication in the proceedings of the ESA.

Accommodation

The local organisers made general reservations for hotel rooms in Maribor at various hotels in the vicinity of the location of the conference. Participants need to book their rooms at least three weeks before the conference, otherwise they will have to find accommodation by themselves. (Deadline for booking: May 23, 2018)
