It is with sadness we announce the recent passing of Cain Todd, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Lancaster University (UK), who died July 23 this year.

Cain was one of the founding members of the Society and served as its Treasurer from 2009 to 2012. His work was instrumental in establishing the ESA, and, together with the first executive and fellow founding members, he helped create a lively, open, and inclusive community where different approaches to Aesthetics can meet.

The ESA Committee joins colleagues and friends around the world in remembering him with affection and gratitude. He will be greatly missed by the many people who knew and worked with him.
